Saturday Snippet

I told you’d I’d post on this blog only on Wednesdays, but I have so many things to share with you! I can’t help myself—I’m here on a Saturday!

And starting today, each Saturday I’ll post a snippet, a morsel to inspire you onward toward your finished memoir.

If you have a snippet you’d like to share with the rest of our writer friends, leave a comment below or e-mail me at GrandmaLetters@aol.com and be sure to put SPIRITUAL MEMOIRS in the subject line so I’ll know it’s not spam.

Here’s this week’s Saturday Snippet:

  1. Oh,Linda--You post God stories here!! How wonderful!! Stories of God's victories to pass on to our children and the future generations. Precious, indeed.
Blessed by your visit today, and the use of hands for your memoirs. Sounds like you have a fun and inspirational project going.
May your day be filled with more treasured memories to tell future generations that they may believe in the One and Only True God.

    Blessings,
    Jansi

It spoke oodles into my heart. :) I'm looking forward to sharing your words with our readers here, soon, but they can always click on your name here today and hop right on over -- and I hope they will!

Yes, this new blog is about telling God stories to our kids and grandkids. It's very special. You have touching God stories on your blog too.

I pray you have had a lovely Mother's Day, Janis!

  7. I appreciate the comments by women memoirists. Are there some men memoirists following you, Linda, besides me? I know the most important thing about memoirs is good storytelling, whether by men or women, and I applaud your effort to keep your blog gender neutral. How about in your classes; many men? I wrote about this topic in my latest post at www.waynegroner.blogspot.com. Next week Linda Joy Myers, founder of the National Association of Memoir Writers, gives her take on my blog regarding gender and memoirists.
