You want readers to keep reading, to keep turning the pages of your memoir, right?
That means you need to rewrite and edit to make it the very
best it can be!
Start by examining your memoir’s beginning. Ask yourself, Will
this catch the attention of my readers and make them want to keep reading?
Experiment with several versions of your opening paragraph.
Work on making it strong and vivid and inviting. And have fun doing it!
